Mammoth handle knives
CUSTOM KNIVES WITH SLEEVES MADE IN GENUINE FOSSIL MAMMOUTH. BONE, IVORY OR MOLAR.

The woolly mammoth walked on Earth at least 10,000 years ago, it is the second most represented animal in the art of
ice age after horses and bison. The mammoth fossil tooth mounted on the handles of my knives comes from
from Alaska and Siberia. It is a rare and fascinating material, the last pieces of a legendary creature that roamed the earth
at the dawn of humanity.

Mammoth ivory can be worked quite easily despite its hardness and these natural colors vary from white to dark brown. The bone
mammoth is a hard material that works relatively well and its natural colors vary from light brown to dark brown. The
woolly mammoth molar is made of three different materials. The first is dentin, which is the dental material that
most animals have. The second is enamel and the third layer is the cement which binds the other two together. The
natural colors vary from light to dark and we find everything from creamy white to dark brown, the other colors more
vivid are tinted to stabilization. The fossil molar is worked with diamond tools because of the very hard enamel layer.
